The Best Connection Oldham are currently recruiting a Machine Operative for our client in the Ashton-Under-Lyne area, transferring to Bredbury Stockport in the future.

A strong background in Machine Operation is essential to apply and we can only consider applications that indicate you've this experience.

Temp to perm role on offer - but can be via Best Connection for 12 months before transferring.

Lots of further training on offer, so you must have a thirst to develop your skill set.

• £13.41 increasing to £14.29 after 12 weeks, higher rates are paid on overtime

Responsibilities of the machine Operative

• Operating a 6 axis wickman machine - training given
• Basic Mechanical work
• Machine operating
• Measuring components
• Quality Control
• Elements of manual handling so physical fitness required

Requirements of the Machine Operative

• Attention to detail.
• Ideally mechanically minded
• Strong machine background essential
• Recent check able work history
• Repetitive duties during training period
• Must be able to travel to Bredbury in the future for work.

Benefits & Requirements:

• Hourly rate as above (not age dependent)
• 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
• Possible permanent position following a successful trial period
