Skilled CNC Turner (Mazak / Mazatrol) Aerospace & Precision Engineering

Our client, a world-class engineering and aerospace manufacturing company, is actively recruiting an experienced CNC Turner / Mazak CNC Lathe Operator to join their high-performing precision engineering team.

If you have experience setting and operating Mazak Quick Turn or Nexus series CNC lathes using Mazatrol controls, this is an excellent opportunity to secure a permanent role with competitive pay and outstanding career progression.

Key Responsibilities CNC Turner / Mazak Programmer

• Set and operate Mazak CNC lathes (Quick Turn & Nexus series)

• Program and edit using Mazatrol controls

• Interpret detailed engineering drawings and GD&T specifications

• Conduct first-off inspections and maintain strict quality standards

• Optimise tooling, cutting parameters, and machining efficiency

• Work collaboratively with production and quality teams

• Maintain high standards of health & safety and 5S workplace organisation

Essential Skills & Experience Required

• Proven experience as a CNC Turner in aerospace or precision engineering

• Strong Mazatrol programming and multi-axis machining capability

• Knowledge of AS9100D and ISO 9001 quality standards

• Confident using precision measuring equipment:

  • Micrometres

  • Vernier callipers

  • CMM equipment

• Ability to work independently and within a fast-paced engineering team

Standard Day Shift

• Monday Thursday: 8:00am 4:30pm

• Friday: 8:00am 1:00pm
