About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a Shot Blaster / Industrial Cleaner to join a busy manufacturing team. This hands-on role involves preparing metal components through chemical cleaning, spraying, and shot blasting processes to ensure products meet quality standards before moving through production.

This is a physically active role suited to someone who enjoys practical work and is comfortable working within an industrial manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Operating shot blasting equipment to clean and prepare metal components

* Carrying out chemical cleaning and treatment processes safely and effectively

* Spraying products and components in line with production requirements

* Preparing surfaces for further manufacturing processes

* Inspecting finished work to ensure quality standards are met

* Loading and unloading materials and components

* Maintaining equipment and ensuring work areas are kept clean and organised

* Following health and safety procedures at all times

* Assisting with general production duties when required

Candidate Requirements

* Previous experience within shot blasting, industrial cleaning, spraying, manufacturing, or a similar environment is desirable

* Ability to work safely with chemicals and industrial equipment

* Good attention to detail and quality standards

* Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties

* Reliable with a strong work ethic

* Able to work independently and as part of a team

* Willingness to learn and undertake training where required
