Job Title: CNC Turner (Mazak)

Location: Denton, Greater Manchester

Hours: Standard hours: 08:00 - 16:30 (Monday to Thursday), 08:00 - 13:00 (Friday). Flexible start times between 06:00 - 08:00 (subject to management discretion). Overtime available (at management discretion):
First 10 hours at x1.5, any additional hours at x2.

Pay Rate: Final rate to be confirmed following assessment of skills and experience

Role Overview

As a CNC Turner, you will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating Mazak CNC lathes using Mazatrol controls, producing precision aerospace components to tight tolerances and high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program, set, and operate Mazak CNC lathes using Mazatrol controls
  • Manufacture complex aerospace components from detailed technical drawings
  • Work to AS9100 and other aerospace quality standards
  • Carry out in-process inspections using precision measuring equipment
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to maintain compliance and efficiency
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a CNC Turner within a precision engineering or aerospace environment
  • Strong working knowledge of Mazak CNC machines and Mazatrol programming
  • Ability to read and interpret aerospace engineering drawings accurately
  • Familiarity with AS9100 or similar quality standards
  • High attention to detail and a proactive, problem‑solving approach
