Our values include responsible working, fair business practices and opportunities for our people to learn and develop. As an employee-owned business, we also recognise the shared contribution our people make to our success.

About the role

You’ll take responsibility for the day-to-day running of our wet paint operation, organising workloads and making sure work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required standard.

Taking a hands-on approach to paint application and providing technical support where needed.

Ensuring the correct preparation, paint systems, colours, finishes and application techniques are used.

Checking quality throughout the process, identifying coating defects and addressing non-conformances and rework.

Organising and supporting paint operatives, developing the team as production grows.

Maintaining safe, tidy and well-organised working areas, following Health and Safety, COSHH and environmental procedures.

Monitoring paint and consumable usage to reduce waste.

Ensuring spray guns, pumps and associated equipment are used correctly and maintenance requirements are addressed.
