Job Title:
Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP)
Location: Manchester
Contract: Full-Time (Fixed Term – 3 Months)
Start Date: ASAP
We are seeking an experienced and autonomous Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join our team on a full-time basis for a 3-month period. The successful candidate will be confident managing a full spectrum of primary care presentations and competent in seeing patients from birth upwards.

Key Responsibilities- Provide autonomous clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients from birth onwards.
- Manage acute and minor illness presentations across all age groups.
- Prescribe independently in line with V300 qualification and current guidelines.
- Undertake clinical examinations and request/interpret investigations appropriately.
- Provide health promotion, preventative care, and chronic disease management where appropriate.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective patient care.
- Maintain accurate, contemporaneous clinical records (EMIS/System One as applicable).
- Contribute to clinical governance, safeguarding, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Registered Nurse (NMC) with current PIN.
- MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice (or equivalent).
- Independent Prescriber (V300).
- Experience working as an ANP in primary care.
- Competent and confident in seeing patients from birth.
- Strong clinical decision-making skills and ability to work autonomously.
- Up-to-date mandatory training and safeguarding (children & adults).
- Experience in urgent care/minor illness clinics.
- EMIS or System One proficiency.
- Full-time hours (Monday–Friday preferred, flexibility considered).
- 3-month fixed-term contract.
