Job Title: Locum Practice Nurse – Manchester (Ad-Hoc & Block Bookings)

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Locum Practice Nurse to join a busy GP practice in Manchester.

This role offers flexibility, with the opportunity to work on ad-hoc dates or block bookings
, making it ideal for nurses seeking flexible working hours.

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, supporting routine clinics, and assisting with immunisations, wound care, and other primary care procedures. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a dynamic primary care setting while maintaining flexibility in your schedule.

• Deliver safe and effective patient care in line with practice protocols

• Conduct routine health checks, immunisations, and screenings

• Manage wound care, dressings, and chronic disease monitoring

• Support vaccination and immunisation clinics, including flu and COVID-19

• Administer medications as prescribed and support medication reviews

• Maintain accurate patient records using EMIS Web

• Work collaboratively with GPs, healthcare assistants, and administrative staff

• Registered Nurse (NMC) with current registration

• Experience working in General Practice or primary care preferred

• Confident with EMIS Web patient record system

• Strong clinical and organisational skills
