What you will do:
  • Conduct thorough assessments for Special Guardianship Orders and kinship care arrangements, ensuring that all placements are in the best interest of the child.
  • Collaborate with families, carers, and other professionals to develop and implement support plans.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and present your findings in court or review meetings as required.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to kinship carers, aiming to strengthen family units and improve outcomes for children.
  • Engage in case management and maintain detailed case records to ensure compliance and quality standards are met.
Requirements:
  • A degree or equivalent qualification in social work is essential.
  • Must have current registration with Social Work England.
  • You should bring significant frontline experience in UK Social Services as a qualified Social Worker, demonstrating your ability to handle complex cases effectively.
