PERM experienced Children's QSW safeguarding team

Location: Ashton-under-Lyne

Exciting perm opportunities for experienced social workers for the Safeguarding Service didates should have at least 2 years experience post qualifying.

Perm role but Tameside will also consider 6 and 12 month fixed term contracts.

Tameside Neighbourhood social work services are looking for experienced social workers who have a keen interest in court work and child protection planning for our children and families.

The role includes both public and private law proceedings, alongside child protection planning. We are looking for enthusiastic, relational and motivated practitioners who are able to work in a restorative strengths based way working within our practice model keeping children at the heart of Tameside through support, compassion and a real commitment to achieving better outcomes for our children and young people.

If you have experience of court proceedings and child protection planning where you have been able to work towards and achieve better outcomes for children and young people then we would love to hear from you.

You will have an experienced team manager who is able to offer support and guidance alongside a permanent senior leadership team who are committed to the improvement plan and ensuring social workers are listened to and supported throughout their time  of our workforce has our children and young people at the centre and are working within the 'heart of support' practice approach.

Interviews will be held in person at Tameside One.
