People Solutions  are currently recruiting for an  HGV Class 2 Multidrop Driver  to join our well-established client based in  Hyde, Manchester .
This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, Monday to Friday working, and long-term stability with a leading company in the industry.
This role would suit candidates with experience as an  LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver or Truck Driver .
Rates of Pay:
£16.00 per hour
Weekly pay
Shift Pattern:
Monday to Friday
Working hours between 07:00 and 17:00

Day-to-Day Duties:
As an  HGV Class 2 Multidrop Driver , you will work:
Driving Category C vehicles safely and efficiently
Completing between five and twelve deliveries to stores across the UK each day
Ensuring loads are maintained at the correct temperature and secured throughout transit
Safely unloading cages using a tail lift
Delivering goods to stores in a professional and timely manner
Completing all delivery paperwork accurately
Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any defects promptly
Complying with Driver Hours Regulations, the Working Time Directive, and UK road traffic legislation

Skills:

To be successful as an  HGV Class 2 Multidrop Driver , you will need:
A minimum of 24 months' experience driving Category C vehicles
A valid UK Category C Driving Licence
A valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
A valid Digital Tachograph Card
No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no DR10, DG10, IN10, or TT99 endorsements)
No major endorsement codes
Strong customer service and communication skills
A professional, reliable, and safety-conscious approach to work
Training:
First-day driving assessment
Training provided where required
Ongoing industry-related training and support throughout your assignment
Previous multi-drop store delivery experience would be advantageous

Experience with in a retail distribution environment would be beneficial
Experience operating tail lifts and completing temperature-controlled deliveries would be advantageous
