Job Overview
BX2 Ltd is recruiting an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee our client's warehouse and delivery operations in Dukinfield. This is a hands-on supervisory role responsible for the efficient receipt, storage, dispatch and delivery of goods while leading a team of 4 Drivers and 2 Warehouse Operatives.
This role offers the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise the day-to-day warehouse and delivery operations.
* Lead, support and develop a team of 4 Drivers and 2 Warehouse Operatives.
* Plan and coordinate daily delivery schedules to meet customer expectations.
* Monitor stock accuracy and oversee goods received and dispatched.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety procedures and relevant legislation.
* Conduct regular warehouse inspections and resolve operational issues.
* Manage team performance, attendance and training requirements.
* Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment.
* Assist with warehouse duties and operational activities where required.
Hours of Work 37.50 hours per week

Requirements
* Previous experience in a Warehouse Supervisor, Team Leader or similar operational management role.
* Strong leadership and people management skills.
* Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
* Good communication skills with colleagues, customers and suppliers.
* Knowledge of inventory management and warehouse processes.
* Understanding of health & safety requirements within a warehouse environment.
* Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems.
* FLT Licence desirable.
* Experience managing delivery operations or transport scheduling desirable.
* Knowledge of warehouse management software desirable.
* Must have the legal right to work in the UK.
