Accounting Specialist - Office Accountant Base Pay Range

$60,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and motivated Staff Accountant. This role supports daily accounting operations, assists with month‑end close, and ensures accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.

• Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing activities
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Assist in preparing financial statements and management reports
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Identify process improvement opportunities and support implementation
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• 2+ years of accounting experience, including internships (preferred)
• Understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles
• Proficiency in Excel (vlookups and pivot tables)
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
