Our fast-growing and well-established company is seeking a full-time on-site role for an Accounting Manager located in Tampa, FL. Our team thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, where innovation and growth are encouraged. As an Accounting Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing our accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate has a solid managerial skills, understanding of accounting principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Accounting department
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries, reconciliations, and ledgers
- Key liaison between headquarters Accounting team and all oversea subsidiary divisions
- Familiar with international accounting & tax practice
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Manage the company's general ledger, ensuring compliance with GAAP and other relevant accounting standards
- Manage monthly bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies
- Prepare financial reports, including budget variance analysis
- Manage the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Manage audits, both internal and external, and provide necessary documentation
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to increase efficiency
- Recruit and develop Accounting talents
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making
- 3-5 years of accounting managerial experience
- Must be proficient with Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, and Outlook) and other accounting software such as Quick Books, Dynamics
365 Business Central, or similar platforms - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Strong leadership, analytical skills, and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- CPA or working towards CPA certification is a plus but not required
- Bilingual preferred (Mandarin or Spanish)
- Able to lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
