Tenacious Tax Accountant

Weber CPA is a Faith based business advisory firm looking to add an exceptional tax accountant to our team. We are not your typical accounting firm, and we pride ourselves on being different in all the right ways. We provide our clients with a business advisory program that offers them recurring access to trustworthy business and tax advice, helping them tackle today’s problems (which we know are plenty), while also guiding them to focus on tomorrow’s opportunities.

• Prepare tax returns (individual, corporate, and partnership), maintain tax records and tax-related schedules (3+ years of tax return preparation experience requested)
• Devise, plan, and execute tax strategies and research potential tax issues
• Analyze tax regulations to ensure all regulations are met by our firm
• Track fixed assets and manage depreciation schedules
• Review financial transaction records and general ledger to ensure compliance
• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
• Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data
• Protect the integrity of our organization by keeping client information confidential

• CPA or CPA Candidate
• Financial math
• Accounting principles
• Records management
• Bookkeeping software (such as Quick Books)
• Tax software (Ultra Tax a plus)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
• Engaging communication skills on phone, via email, and face-to-face
• Client service oriented
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Proactive problem-solving and time management skills under pressure
• Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects effectively
• Enthusiasm to grow professionally as well as personally
