AR Collections Clerk

Accounts Receivable Clerk | $19-22 per hour | Monday – Friday 8:00 am–4:30 pm

The Reserves Network is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to manage the full-cycle AR process for a Clearwater-based manufacturer whose products support the healthcare industry nationwide.

In this role, you aren’t just processing numbers—you are a key guardian of our cash flow and a builder of vital client relationships.

• Full-Cycle Invoicing:
  Generate and distribute accurate daily invoices, verifying sales orders, contracts, and pricing to ensure 100% billing accuracy.
• Strategic Collections:
  Lead proactive daily outreach (calls and emails) to past-due accounts, negotiating payment plans and maintaining professional client rapport.
• Age Analysis & Compliance:
  Categorize receivables into aging buckets to evaluate collection likelihood and prioritize high-risk accounts.
• Payment Processing:
  Reconcile the AR sub-ledger to the general ledger and manage daily cash applications (ACH, wire, checks, and credit cards).
• Dispute Resolution:
  Act as a problem-solver by investigating billing discrepancies and resolving customer statement inquiries.
• Financial Support:
  Prepare daily bank deposits and assist the finance team with critical month-end closing activities.

• Experience:
  
  1–3 years of hands-on experience in Accounts Receivable and general accounting.
• Corporate Collections Savvy:
  Proven experience in corporate collections with a professional yet firm approach.
• Tax Knowledge: A solid understanding of sales tax, as we operate across 40 states.
• Tech-Forward
  
  Skills:
  
  High proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software. Experience with MS Dynamics Great Plains is a major plus!
• Education:
  
  High School Diploma required; a Degree in Accounting is preferred but not required.

In the spirit of pay transparency, we want to share the base salary range for this position which is $19‑22.00 per hour not including benefits, potential bonuses or additional compensation. If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition, we also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members.
