Ledgent Finance & Accounting is hiring! We are seeking a detail‑oriented and motivated Corporate Staff Accountant to join a growing team in Tampa, FL. This role will play a key part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, with a strong focus on lease accounting and multi‑entity operations
.

The ideal candidate brings a solid accounting foundation, hands‑on experience with complex lease portfolios, and exposure to fixed assets, job costing, or dealership accounting environments.

$68,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr

• Perform month‑end and year‑end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Manage and maintain lease accounting in compliance with ASC 842, including right‑of‑use assets, lease liabilities, and related disclosures
• Support accounting for multi‑location and/or multi‑entity operations
  , including intercompany transactions
• Assist with accounting related to construction projects and/or dealership operations
  , such as job costing, work‑in‑progress (WIP), inventory, and fixed assets
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and supporting schedules
• Maintain accurate fixed asset and depreciation schedules
• Support internal and external audits and provide requested documentation
• Assist with process improvements and system enhancements within the accounting function
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including operations, finance, and management

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
• 2-5+ years of accounting experience in a corporate environment
• Prior experience in construction industry highly preferred
• Working knowledge of job costing, WIP, inventory, or fixed asset accounting
• Experience with ERP systems and lease accounting software
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities
• High attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment

• Exposure to multi‑location dealership groups or construction entities
• Experience supporting audits or complex reconciliations
• Familiarity with financial systems implementation or optimization
• Directly support senior leadership and CFO
• Excellent mentorship and exposure
• Fast growing industry
