** to join our Insurance Accounting team. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with accounting standards, and supporting both internal and external stakeholders. ** What you’ll accomplish with us
** As a Senior Accountant, you’ll be at the core of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:
* Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly close activities.
* Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP
* Serve as a key point of contact for external customers or clients regarding financial matters, including billing inquiries, account reconciliations, and reporting needs.
* Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
* Support budgeting and forecasting processes with financial analysis and reporting.
* Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting procedures.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations and financial decision-making.
* Research and resolve accounting issues and discrepancies.
* Participate in system implementations and process improvement initiatives.

* 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or progress toward CPA preferred.
* Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Net Suite, SAP, Oracle) as well as advanced Excel skills;

What would be considered an asset but not required:
* Experience in a multi-national corporation or shared services environment.
* Familiarity with data visualization tools
