ACTS is growing! We are seeking a compassionate, driven individual to join us in making a lasting impact through meaningful work on the Finance Administration Team.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, hours may range from7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. with some flexibility as approved.
Location: On-site, 5 days a week at our Administration office in Tampa, FL.
Salary: $33.65‑$36.06 /hr.

- Performs general cost accounting for the organization.
- Prepares monthly balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss statements.
- Maintains the general ledger.
- Codes invoices, sets up new accounts, reconciles accounts, and closes the monthly books.
- Maintains and reconciles fixed asset tracking system and depreciation schedules.
- Reconciles bank accounts at least monthly, verifies deposits, and addresses bank inquiries.
- Reconciles cash disbursement accounts, payroll, customer accounts, and manages accounts receivable collections.
- Verifies and/or completes payment of invoices associated with accounts payable and ensures payments are charged to the appropriate accounts.
- Assists outside auditors; gathers necessary account information and documents for annual audit.
- Occasional travel between ACTS facilities, banks and direct service locations.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field.
- Three (3) years of progressive accounting experience, including nonprofit and grant‑funded programs.
- Ability to pass Federal, State, Local Law and Level 2 background clearances.
- Strong technical accounting and financial reporting skills.
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
- Excellent organizational, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to deadlines.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer screen.
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
