Accounting Coordinator

Ledgent Finance & Accounting is partnering with a growing Tampa-area organization to identify an experienced Accounting Coordinator. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys working across multiple accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and financial reporting support. The Accounting Coordinator will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting daily accounting operations.

• Process accounts payable invoices and ensure timely vendor payments
• Assist with accounts receivable, cash applications, and customer account maintenance
• Perform bank, credit card, and general ledger account reconciliations
• Prepare and maintain accounting schedules, reports, and supporting documentation
• Assist with month-end close activities, journal entries, and account analysis
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and accounting issues
• Maintain vendor and customer records within the accounting system
• Support audits by gathering and organizing financial documentation
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures
• Collaborate with internal departments to improve accounting processes and workflows

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• 2+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or accounting coordinator experience
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial recordkeeping
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis
• Experience with ERP or accounting software such as Net Suite, Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, or Quick Books preferred
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities

• Experience supporting month-end close processes
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Team-oriented mindset with a customer service approach
