Ledgent is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for a valued client in the Tampa area. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced AP professional looking to join a stable organization. This is a temp to perm role and the ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment. This role is in office with a M-F schedule and pay is $23-25/hr.
Responsibilities- Process high-volume vendor invoices accurately and timely
- Perform three-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receipts
- Review and verify invoices for proper approvals and coding
- Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain positive vendor relationships
- Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable
- Maintain accurate vendor records and supporting documentation
- Support the accounting team with additional administrative and accounting tasks as needed
- 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience
- Experience processing high-volume invoices preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred but not required
