Senior Corporate Accountant

Ledgent Finance & Accounting is partnering with a growing manufacturing and technology-driven organization to identify a Senior Accountant
. This position offers exposure to financial reporting, operational accounting, cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and business analysis within a fast-paced environment.

• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Analyze financial results and investigate variances
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Perform account analyses and provide management reporting
• Partner with operations and business leaders to support decision-making
• Assist with audit requests and accounting research
• Identify process improvement opportunities and drive efficiencies
• Prepare ad hoc financial analyses and reporting

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• CPA preferred
• Big 4 or public accounting experience preferred
• Manufacturing, inventory, or cost accounting experience strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
• Advanced Excel skills required
• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting foundation with a blend of public accounting and manufacturing experience. This individual will be comfortable managing month-end close activities, analyzing financial data, supporting operational leaders, and contributing to process improvements in a dynamic growth environment.
