Position SummaryThe Finance Tech supports the Financial Analysts and Accounting team with maintaining general ledger systems, financial accounts, journal entries and related finance processes. This role works with moderate supervision and serves as an important resource in supporting Home Health financial operations.
Responsibilities- Assist with maintaining general ledger accounts and financial systems.
- Support Financial Analysts and Accounting Specialists with day-to-day accounting activities.
- Prepare and review financial information for accuracy and completeness.
- Assist with account reconciliation and financial reporting.
- Research and resolve discrepancies as needed.
- Support various finance and accounting projects within the department.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
Minimum Qualifications
- One (1) year of experience in:
- Accounting
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Associate Degree in Accounting preferred
- Experience working with financial systems, reports, and reconciliations.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to analyze information and resolve problems independently.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
