• Average hours: 50 during tax season / 40 outside of tax season

• Prepare and review a wide range of individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns with a focus on accuracy and compliance
• Apply federal, state, and local tax codes to ensure clients receive the maximum benefit
• Provide proactive tax planning strategies
• Stay current on changes in tax law and public accounting standards
• Manage, train, and mentor tax staff
• Review financial statements and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy
• Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and address inquiries
• Review and respond to client comments and feedback

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA or EA preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of tax experience
• Strong tax preparation and public accounting background with solid regulatory knowledge
• Excellent analytical and detail-oriented skills
• Strong understanding of financial statement preparation
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel (Drake Tax preferred but not required)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
