Job DescriptionAAA Car Care is the largest chain of AAA club‑owned repair facilities in the USA, with 34 stores and counting. We offer a full range of automotive repair and maintenance services to AAA members and non‑members. Every facility is staffed with ASE‑certified technicians who treat each vehicle with the utmost care.
Day‑in‑the‑Life:Technician C
- Complete routine scheduled maintenance on automobiles and trucks as directed by a Manager or Service Advisor.
- Perform basic automotive repair, adjustments, and maintenance procedures, including oil changes, tire replacement, and general vehicle maintenance.
- Perform automotive repairs, adjustments, and maintenance procedures as outlined on repair orders.
- Complete fluid exchanges, alignments, brake services, advanced repair, and maintenance services.
- Drive vehicles into the service bay, prepare them for and complete digital vehicle inspection.
- Test drive vehicles and prepare them for delivery to customers after necessary repairs and maintenance are complete.
- Keep the shop clean and organized to ensure a positive member and customer experience.

- Starting hourly pay of $42,000 annual (rate fluctuates based on productivity plus annual bonus eligibility).
- Annual incentive opportunity, certification bonus opportunity, flat rate (production) pay.
- Work‑life balance, short workdays, closed Sunday, Monday‑Friday 7:30 am‑6 pm, Saturday 8 am‑4 pm, closed major holidays.
- High school diploma, GED, or technical school graduate/certification.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Minimum of 6 months relevant experience in automotive repair or completion of a formal automotive training program.
- Knowledge of automotive and/or truck systems, tools, and technical resources to independently perform a variety of basic repairs and maintenance.
- Demonstrate proper use of equipment and tools and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Consistently provide exceptional customer service and improve customer service score.
- ASE certifications (e.g., A4‑Suspension & Steering, A5‑Brakes).
- G1‑Auto Maintenance & Light Repair preferred.
- State inspection certificate where applicable.
- AC 609 certification.
- May experience loud noises and odors intermittently in the shop.
- Standing, walking, and normal physical mobility, including reaching, grabbing, lifting, and carrying up to ~80 lb of automotive parts and equipment.
- Must have own tools appropriate for skill level.
- Must work in the heat; some locations do not have air conditioning and fans are present in all facilities.
- Must maintain working on your feet in a concrete facility for the entire shift.
