Sourcing Associate
for a consulting engagement with our direct client, a leading global biopharmaceutical company.

Ideal candidate: 3+ YOE of sourcing in regulated industry; banking, pharma, est. Must have proven Customer Service Experience

Job Description:
Primary responsibilities include the following:

• Executing Tail Spend Sourcing Strategies
• Support supplier analysis and market intelligence activities
• Manage Request for Proposal and Quotation processes (eRFX)
• Consistently document and guide sourcing execution in designated tools
• Ensure sourcing tactics drive value in specific functional business environments
• Delivering Value for Customers
• Understand business goals and interpret customer needs to identify potential opportunities
  Partner with colleagues in various business areas as appropriate
• Managing Contracts:
  • Ensure contract policies are followed, compliance metrics are met or exceeded
  • Inform stakeholders on contracting policies and procedures, providing support and corrective actions where required
  • Lead contracting activities including selecting appropriate contract templates and effectively negotiating business terms

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree OR
Associate’s degree and 2 years of Sourcing, Contracting, Customer Service, and/or Project Management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Combination of:
  Sourcing, Contracting, Customer Service and/or Project Management
• Broad knowledge of the market forces shaping a customer’s business context (e.g. supplier base, sources of competitive advantage)
• Demonstrated experience working within a set of guidelines in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated success ensuring requirements are met with a customer-centric mindset
• Analytical & Technical
• Ability to influence to drive desired results
• Ability to analyze, summarize, and present insights based on the needs of the audience
• Change Management:
  • Independent self-starter with an interest in or working understanding of broad business functions
  • Demonstrated track record of identifying root causes to issues and proactively problem solving
  • Demonstrated success in partnering cross-functionally
  • Compelling and persuasive communicator (oral and written) with excellent interpersonal skills
