Head of Business Governance, GSO - Field Tech Operations (FTO)

Do you want to help build and optimize one of the most strategic organizations at AWS? Are you excited to help field teams overcome complex challenges and make transformational impact to businesses?

As part of the Global Sales Operations (GSO) team, you will lead the Business Governance function, defining, building, launching, and optimizing the mechanisms that enable the business rhythm. You will work closely with senior regional and worldwide leadership to support the strategic evolution of the function, execute monthly and quarterly business reviews, coordinate initiatives, and measure performance through metrics and KPIs.

job responsibilities
  • Own the definition, build, development and launch of key mechanisms designed to govern the business and cross‑regional capabilities that embed best practice, efficiencies, and acceleration for scalability.
  • Own operational governance cadences such as weekly, monthly, and quarterly reviews, standard and ad‑hoc reporting, and identify efficiencies that improve business performance.
  • Drive execution and reporting of operational KPIs, goals, and metrics for allocated areas.
Basic Qualifications
  • 10+ years of sales operations or equivalent experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Experience developing and implementing systems/tools utilized for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting, Salesforce automation, etc.
  • Experience defining, refining, and implementing sales processes, procedures, and policies.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using Salesforce (or other CRM tool) or BI tools.
  • Experience presenting to senior leadership.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $120,500 to $199,300 per year depending on location. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.
