RoleSummary
Reporting to the Director of Business Development Operations, the analyst supports Suffolk’s National and Regional sellers by delivering data, insights, and tools that enable our sellers to operate more effectively and strategically. This role combines strong analytical and technical skills with business acumen to build scalable reporting, provide actionable insights, and improve the efficiency of business development operations. The analyst will partner closely with the Finance, Strategy, and Data teams, as well as with regional operational leaders, to design and automate high‑quality analytical solutions that enhance visibility into business performance and empower data‑driven decision‑making.
Responsibilities- Enable data‑driven selling:
Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and models that help Business Development teams track performance, pipeline health, and revenue opportunities. - Deliver ad hoc and automated insights:
Conduct targeted analyses to address immediate business questions while designing repeatable, automated reporting solutions for ongoing needs. - Integrate complex data sources:
Combine data from multiple systems (e.g., financial, operational, and CRM) to create unified, reliable datasets that inform strategic decisions. - Collaborate across teams:
Work closely with Finance, Strategy, and Data teams to align on key metrics, validate data, and ensure consistency in reporting. - Drive operational efficiency:
Identify opportunities to streamline reporting workflows and automate manual processes. - Ensure data quality and governance:
Apply strong validation, documentation, and QA practices to maintain data accuracy and integrity. - Communicate insights effectively:
Present findings and recommendations in a clear, compelling way to business and executive stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or operations, preferably within a large or complex organization.
