Business Analyst

Required: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business Analysis, Criminal Justice, International Relations, or a similar field.

Desired: Post-graduate degree such as a Master's in MIS, Business Analysis, Administration, Political Science, International Studies, or similar.

• 2-3 years of work experience in an international financial services firm within control functions (compliance, audit, risk), operations, testing, or related roles.

• Strong background in Global Economic Sanctions preferred.

• Good knowledge of general banking operations and products.

• Ability to understand the end-to-end process and screening ecosystem.

• Excellent analytical and decision-making skills to assess information.

• Strong written and oral communication skills.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Effective team player, able to interact respectfully with superiors and peers.

• Adaptable to fast-paced, changing environments.

• Extensive knowledge of data mining, analytics, and reporting.

• Proficient in database management tools such as SQL, Java for data automation, and VBA/Macros.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office products including Excel, SharePoint, Access, and collaboration tools.

• Attention to detail with the ability to see the big picture and illustrate workflows through Visio.
