Substitute Teacher – Bright Horizons

Location:
Bright Horizons at JPMC Fountain Square, Tampa, FL.
The position is part‑time with infants to school age from Monday to Friday with varied schedules as needed (hours not guaranteed). Competitive pay ranges from $14.10 to $17.50 per hour based on education and experience. Preferred: DCF 45 hrs/exams completed (contingent upon state residency or time in field).
Responsibilities- Assist with hands‑on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children.
- Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones.
- Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines.
Candidates must pass required state and company background checks and meet the minimum education and experience requirements.
- Age 18 or older with a high school diploma or GED.
- 1 year of experience working in child care, daycare, or preschool settings is preferred.
- CDA, Associate, or bachelor’s degree in early education or a related field is preferred.
This position requires you to comply with all applicable federal, state, local, Bright Horizons’, and client site requirements concerning immunizations, employment physical/screening, and health and safety training.
CompensationHourly rate: $14.10 – $17.50 per hour. Actual compensation within this range will depend on experience, education, and other factors.
