Salary Range: $65,000 – $110,000

Compensation based on experience & performance; bonus opportunities available.

Showalter Construction & Restoration LLC (SCR) — a veteran‑owned restoration and reconstruction company founded in 2005 — is seeking an experienced Working Superintendent / Lead Technician to join our growing team.

SCR specializes in water, fire, mold, storm, and reconstruction services throughout the Tampa Bay area. We’re looking for a hands‑on leader with strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to manage field operations efficiently and safely.

About the Role

Working superintendent position —
on‑site, on the tools, and in control of production. Ideal for a skilled tradesperson who thrives in both leadership and fieldwork, this role involves overseeing multiple residential and commercial rebuilds while maintaining active participation in the work. You’ll ensure all projects meet SCR’s standards for safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and participate in demolition, structural repair, and reconstruction activities.
  • Manage day‑to‑day site operations to ensure safety, efficiency, and quality craftsmanship.
  • Prepare and maintain project material & inventory lists, track usage, and coordinate procurement and delivery.
  • Conduct weekly safety meetings and enforce OSHA and company safety protocols.
  • Oversee both in‑house crews and subcontractors for productivity and workmanship standards.
  • Mentor and train team members in best trade practices and restoration techniques.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to maintain production schedules and customer satisfaction.
