Job SummaryThe Dive Supervisor’s primary responsibility is to oversee the planning and execution of the diving operation, including the safety and health of the dive team. They must adhere to and maintain strict compliance with company policies and procedures, established health and safety protocols, and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.

- Diploma from ADCE Compliant Commercial Dive School
- Current ADCI supervisor certification
- Nitrox endorsement a plus
- Current ADCI Compliant Dive Physical (if diving)
- Current First Aid, CPR, AED, Oxygen Administration Certifications
- OSHA 10 Hour Construction
- Own commercial dive gear (incl. helmet, suit, harness, bottle, etc.)
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean record
- Recommended to obtain Class “A” CDL permit within 60 days of hire
- 5 years working in commercial diving operations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and tablet‑based safety programs
- Committed to safety and teamwork
- Ability to cut and weld steel underwater
- Underwater cutting and welding expertise
- Effective leadership, mentoring, and motivation of teams
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Positive and constructive demeanor in all situations
- Ensure the safety of every member of the dive team
- Execute field work including underwater construction, maintenance, repairs, and inspections
- Assign duties and direct the diving team throughout the operation
- Complete all job‑specific paperwork such as dive logs and JHAs
- Maintain compliance with contract documents and schedules
- Communicate job schedule, safety concerns, and scope changes to management, team, and clients
- Monitor dive times, depths, and safety precautions
- Develop and maintain pre‑ and post‑dive checklists and emergency procedures
- Ensure all personnel and equipment are qualified, inspected, and compliant
- Perform heavy lifting, climbing, and handling of materials (up to 94 lbs. short distance)
- Work long shifts with non‑standard breaks and travel for extended periods
- Operate in varied weather, confined spaces, and at heights up to 50 feet
- Wear and maintain PPE such as hard hats, safety glasses, and boots
