Construction Labor / Trades, Heavy Equipment Operator
We are seeking a Heavy Construction Laborer to join our expanding Tampa team. Heavy construction laborers perform various tasks involving physical labor at construction sites, such as shoveling, raking, hand sweeping, setting bracing, forming, rigging, tying, cutting, patching, cleaning, and operating tools like small hand or power tools, air tools, jack hammers, cement mixers, hand tampers, plate tampers, and saws.

Responsibilities- Work safely while adhering to Crisdel’s Safety Program & Guidelines and all federal, state and local rules and regulations.
- Adhere to the guidelines set forth in Crisdel’s Employment Handbook.
- Work with pride, integrity and honor in an ethical manner that promotes Crisdel.
- Maintain a positive working relationship with co‑workers, subcontractors, vendors, inspectors and agency individuals on a Crisdel job site.
- Work productively and efficiently while maintaining the highest level of quality work.
- Be self‑motivated and ambitious.
- Understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Report to work on time, take meal breaks only during the allocated time periods, and remain on site until the end of the designated shift.
Negotiate construction sites that may involve sitting, standing, walking, climbing, stooping, twisting, reaching, bending, trunk movements, lifting a minimum of 45 pounds, carrying, pushing, pulling, and utilizing hands and fingers for dexterity.
Typical Work ConditionsWork outside on a construction site and/or roadway project while being exposed to noise, heat and varying weather conditions. Depending on the project schedule, work may be required during the day, at night or on weekends.
Qualifications- Minimum of a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Valid driver’s license that meets state requirements; CDL preferred but not required; no major violations.
- Successfully pass a pre‑employment drug screen, motor vehicle records check, and criminal background check.
- Verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and complete the required employment eligibility verification document upon hire.
