• Manage construction materials testing services and run the department.
• Maximize long- and short‑term profits for the department.
• Oversee field technicians and inspectors’ daily tasks.
• Meet with clients and solicit new business.
• Supervise hiring, termination, evaluation, and mentoring.
• Quote costs and fees to clients.
• Prepare proposals and reports.
• Manage office personnel, including reporting and invoicing.
• Coordinate personnel and equipment within the department.
• Assist on geotechnical engineering assignments.
• Other duties may be assigned.

• 8 to 10 years of experience in CMT services in the local market.
• Experience with geotechnical engineering.
• Experience in the business side of construction materials testing.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Florida is a strong plus but not required.
