Base pay range$/yr - $/yr
The Superintendent will be responsible for managing all aspects of the construction of a luxury high‑rise multifamily / mixed use project in Tampa.
Project Planning and Scheduling:
- Develop and implement detailed project schedules, including sequencing of work, resource allocation, and milestone deadlines.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Anticipate and proactively address potential scheduling conflicts or delays to keep projects on track.
Site Management:
- Oversee day‑to‑day on‑site construction activities, including subcontractor coordination, material handling, and equipment usage.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality of work, and compliance with safety regulations.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
Quality Control:
- Implement quality control measures to ensure that workmanship and materials meet project specifications and industry standards.
- Conduct inspections and quality assurance checks at various stages of construction to identify and address any deficiencies or issues.
- Work closely with project managers and design teams to resolve construction‑related challenges and ensure adherence to project plans.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in high‑rise multifamily construction, with a proven track record of successful project management.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and materials relevant to multifamily residential projects.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- OSHA 30‑Hour certification or equivalent safety training preferred.
