Job Description AECOM Hunt is seeking an experienced Field Superintendent to support a major stadium construction project  in the Tampa Bay, Florida area.

The Field Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing daily field construction activities, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining project schedules, and ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project plans, specifications, and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in large-scale commercial construction, preferably with experience delivering sports stadiums, arenas, entertainment venues, or other complex, high-profile projects.

Provide overall on-site administrative and technical management for a wide range of construction projects. Responsible for the organization and direction of construction and related activities within assigned area of responsibility, which may be a single area, multi-area or a multi-discipline construction project. May be the primary client contact for all jobsite day to day activities, or may coordinate with client’s resident representatives on jobsite activities within assigned area of operations.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) plus 8 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience supervising field construction activities on large-scale commercial construction projects.

Working knowledge of construction means, methods, sequencing, and subcontractor coordination.

Knowledge of construction safety regulations, quality control procedures, and project scheduling.

Valid Driver's License Preferred Requirements:8+ years of progressive field construction experience, including experience in a Superintendent or Field Superintendent role.

Experience working for a large general contractor or construction management firm on complex, multimillion-dollar projects.

Experience on sports stadiums, arenas, entertainment venues, convention centers, or other large public assembly facilities strongly preferred.

Experience managing multiple subcontractors and trades on large, fast-paced construction projects.

Experience with complex construction sequencing, logistics planning, and schedule-driven project delivery.
