Streaming Producer

Fox TV Stations FOX Television Stations (FTS) owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations, including stations in 14 of the top 15 markets and duopolies in 11. Eighteen are FOX Network affiliates, and together the stations produce approximately 1,300 hours of local news every week. FOX LOCAL, the company's free ad-supported digital and streaming product, extends that news, weather and local content across connected TV & mobile devices.

LiveNOW from FOX expands the FTS portfolio even further as the only national streaming services to be truly live 24/7, covering breaking news and events as they happen.

The Streaming Producer will work closely with our PM streaming host to organize and produce daily streaming coverage, while developing engaging, conversational live-streaming concepts that inform, connect with, and serve Tampa Bay audiences. This role will also produce Late Debate, a high-energy program focused on top Florida news topics and built around live audience participation and real-time interaction. The goal is to create programming that gives viewers a reason to actively participate in the stream rather than simply watch it.

This position requires strong news judgment, excellent writing and storytelling skills, and the ability to recognize when a conversation should continue, shift direction, or end. The ideal candidate is comfortable taking calculated risks, testing new ideas, learning from results, and continually improving the viewer experience.

This is a hands‑on role that may require flexible working hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and coverage during breaking news.

• Organize and produce daily PM streaming coverage in partnership with the PM streaming host.
• Produce Late Debate, developing timely Florida-focused topics, segments, guests, and opportunities for live audience participation and real-time interaction.
• Develop and produce engaging live and on-demand streaming content for FOX 13 Tampa Bay and FOX LOCAL.
• Identify and develop local Tampa Bay and Florida stories that matter to our audiences.
• Develop conversational streaming concepts, interview questions, segments, and audience-focused formats.
• Create opportunities for viewers to actively participate in live streams and help incorporate audience interaction into programming in real time.
• Quickly identify compelling angles, ask thoughtful follow‑up questions, and guide conversations in real time.
• Source, organize, and prepare video, graphics, user-generated content, and other visual elements.
• Manage video editing and content‑production workflows from concept through publication.
• Write clear, compelling, and accurate content for digital, streaming, and linear platforms.
• Ensure live streams and newscasts run smoothly while maintaining quality, accuracy, and editorial standards.
• Collaborate with reporters, anchors, producers, directors, photographers, editors, and digital teams.
• Monitor audience engagement and use performance insights to improve content and coverage.
• Publish and promote content across Facebook, Instagram, You Tube, X/Twitter, Tik Tok, Snapchat, and emerging platforms.
• Respond quickly and effectively to breaking news, developing stories, and changing editorial priorities.
• Maintain a strong commitment to journalistic ethics, accuracy, fairness, and community service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, or Media, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
• 2-3 years of experience in producing, digital journalism, streaming, or a related newsroom role.
