About The Job
Become part of a growing business in the exciting construction industry. Advanced Systems, Inc. of Suncoast is one of Tampa Bay’s Premier Flooring Vendors, serving the Residential and Commercial construction industry since 1990. Advanced Systems services the greater Tampa Bay and Sarasota/Bradenton Areas. The Customer Service Coordinator will work closely with the executive management team while interacting with team members at all levels.
The Customer Service Coordinator will play a crucial role in managing and supporting day-to-day operations and scheduling of the customer service department. This position is an office-based position in Tampa, FL.
- Field homeowner phone calls to set up and schedule service calls.
- Communicate with builders, supervisors and homeowners to establish service dates, provide updates, and reschedule as needed.
- Work daily with service technicians and installers to schedule service calls.
- Order all materials needed for the service job, track materials until received and then stage materials for the job.
- Organize material and paperwork for service technicians.
- File claims and follow-up as needed with suppliers for defects, etc.
- Schedule inspections for supervisors, managers, and supplier representatives as needed.
- Communicate with builder via email for completed work orders and for billing as needed.
- Provide the builder with a weekly update of all open service calls via Excel spreadsheet.
- Request and track EPOs for extra work required outside of original scope.
- Order and track stock materials for warehouse.
- Other tasks at management’s discretion.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience
- High School Diploma or GED Required
- Proficient in Microsoft Platform (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Ability to compose and respond to emails promptly and professionally
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines; high level of organization required
- Produce and maintain paperwork or logs as required
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Cooperative attitude
- Strong customer service skills
- Professional and supportive interaction with all levels of internal and external customers
- Must pass drug screening and background check and maintain drug-free status
- Physical Demands: while performing duties, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods; must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs
- Fluent in Spanish
- Microsoft ACCESS
