The Hyde Park Center for Aesthetic Dentistry is now hiring a Dental Assistant in Tampa, Florida!

Our Hyde Park office is in one of Tampa's most desirable, walkable neighborhoods, surrounded by shops and restaurants. We are a one Dr. cosmetic focused practice with a small, high performing team that takes pride in delivering exceptional patient care. This role is ideal for an experienced Dental Assistant who wants to fully own the clinical area and provide strong support to the Dr.

and team. Confidence, autonomy and exceptional attention to detail are critical. You should be highly skilled and comfortable with treatment presentation. A strong opportunity to make a big impact!

Dental Assistant

Schedule:

Monday through Thursday 7:00am to 5:30pm with 60 minute lunch break

• Assist the Dentists chairside
• Welcomes patients
• Prepares patients for treatments or checkups ensuring comfort
• Selection and setup of instrumentation, equipment and other dental materials as needed
• Instrument sterilization according to regulations
• Maintains accurate patient records
• Lab tasks as instructed
• Provide post-operative care instructions
• Maintain clean and stocked operatories

• Florida EFDA Certificate Required
• 3 or more years of dental assisting clinical experience required, including experience with cosmetic dentistry
• Experience with Xrays and making temporary crowns
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
• Understanding of health & safety regulations
• Experience with digital software, preferrably Eaglesoft or Denticon
• Excellent interpersonal skills
