Landscape Architect / Project Manager
Location: Tampa, FL
OverviewAn established, design-focused practice is seeking an experienced Landscape Architect / Project Manager to join its Tampa office. This role is ideal for a motivated professional with a strong background in land development projects who is ready to take ownership of project delivery, client coordination, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Manage landscape architecture projects from concept through construction, with a focus on land development work
- Lead project coordination with clients, consultants, and internal design teams
- Prepare and oversee production of construction documents, specifications, and design deliverables
- Ensure projects meet schedules, budgets, and quality standards
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff members
- Participate in client meetings, presentations, and entitlement processes
- Review shop drawings, submittals, and respond to RFIs during construction administration
- Collaborate closely with civil engineers, architects, and planners
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program
- Experience managing projects and coordinating multidisciplinary teams
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and related design software
- Knowledge of local codes, zoning regulations, and entitlement processes in Florida
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Licensure or progress toward licensure preferred
