Position Overview: This position is contingent upon contract award. Updates on the contract status and next steps will be provided during the hiring process.

• Must be a U.S. citizen
• Must possess a current US Passport and be able to travel and work overseas
• Must possess a Secret Security Clearance
• Medical Doctorate required

• Preferred: prior experience with medical policies issued by CENTCOM, BUMED, and DHA
• Experience conducting medical practice according to DOD guidelines
• Experience with medical readiness exams and tracking systems
• Experience with TRICARE, medical policy development, and disease surveillance is strongly preferred
• Ten years of military experience

Provide support services to assist the MARCENT Force Surgeon in medical planning, health surveillance, and operational health service support within the CENTCOM AoR under a five-year contract.

• Maintain clinical privileges at the 6th Medical Group Medical Clinic, Mac Dill AFB
• Provide limited sick call services (4–8 hours weekly) to support clinical competency
• Support medical readiness reporting and advise on medical tracking systems and trends
• Assist in developing medical evacuation and treatment plans for exercises and operations
• Participate in site surveys and liaise with host nation medical facilities
• Provide recommendations on TRICARE and other services for MARCENT personnel
• Advise on disease surveillance and medical intelligence dissemination
• Support engagement with relevant health organizations
• Maintain Continuing Medical Education (CME)

• Must possess a Secret Security Clearance

• Travel:
  Support required to various countries in the CENTCOM AoR, including Bahrain, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and others. Ability to travel on short notice is preferred.
