The department of anesthesiology at Tampa General Hospital (TGH) is seeking highly qualified and motivated anesthesiologists to join our academic department. TGH is the premier tertiary care academic health system serving the Tampa Bay area with over 1,000 beds and expanding. The department offers the full spectrum of anesthesiology services (other than pediatric cardiac surgery). In 2024, TGH became the largest transplant center in the nation by volume!

TGH is also home to the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine, as well as an anesthesiology residency training program accredited for 12 residents per class. All applicants must have a desire to participate in the educational journey of residents as well as gain faculty rank within the department. Experience in clinical research or the desire to pursue such research is a plus.
