Full‑time Pediatric Hospitalist with residency teaching responsibilities.

The Department of Pediatrics, Division of General Pediatrics‑Pediatric Hospital Medicine at University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine seeks a full‑time Pediatric Hospitalist to provide clinical care eph Children’s Hospital in Tampa, FL. The role includes patient care, residency teaching, and participation in quality improvement and leadership opportunities. No fellowship training required. A Florida medical license is required. The position is non‑tenure earning and salary is negotiable.

• Manage pediatric patients eph's Children’s Hospital, providing direct medical care in hospital or clinic settings.
• Diagnose, treat, and prescribe for pediatric illnesses and conditions.
• Teach residents, fellows, and medical students as part of daily clinical duties.
• Participate in quality programs and hospital‑based leadership opportunities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Medical degree from an accredited institution or equivalent, with a demonstrated record of achievement in teaching, academic research, and service.
• Meet university criteria for appointment to Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor.
• Board Certified or Eligible in Pediatrics.
• Minimum 12 months of recent inpatient clinical care experience.
• Hold or be eligible for a full, unrestricted Florida Medical License (or foreign equivalent). Must maintain credentials in USF Health faculty practice plan and be a medical staff member in good standing at assigned hospitals.
