Glaucoma Surgeon - Hillsborough and Pinellas County, FL

We are seeking a dedicated Glaucoma Specialist (MD or DO) to join an amazing ophthalmology team. This role requires a skilled surgeon with a focus on glaucoma management who is willing to commute between Hillsborough and Pinellas Counties. With a strong emphasis on excellence, the team is dedicated to providing personalized, high-quality services while encouraging continuous learning and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of glaucoma surgeries, including SLTs, CPCs, LPIs, MIGs, tubes/shunts, and trabeculectomy.
• Provide comprehensive glaucoma care to patients.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care.
• Patient Care:
• Expect to see 30-40 or more patients per day, depending on practice and support staff availability.
• Benefit from a strong support team, including scribes and technicians, to enhance patient flow.

Requirements:

• Board Certification is required.
• Preferred experience in glaucoma surgery; however, we will consider 2026 fellowship graduates and new graduates.
• While not mandatory, proficiency in Spanish would be helpful.
