POSITION SUMMARY
Radiology Associates of Florida & the University of South Florida (USF) Morsani College of Medicine is seeking a full‑time, fellowship‑trained Thoracic or Cardiothoracic Radiologist to support our growing practice in Tampa, FL. This is an exciting opportunity to work in the leading academic medical center in Florida (USF/Tampa General Hospital) with an academic faculty appointment at USF, while working with medical students, 32 residents, and 2 cardiothoracic fellows.
There are also opportunities to serve in leadership within the USF Department of Radiology based on the candidate’s academic experience.
This hybrid academic/private position is a full‑time, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. partnership‑track position. The practice offers the full range of benefits to include generous PTO and a voluntary internal moonlighting program with unmatched flexibility, allowing radiologists to moonlight from home as much or as little as they prefer, without having to commit to extra shifts.

Our practice is locally and democratically led, with decisions vested in the hands the group serve as the teaching physicians for the University of South Florida Department of Radiology in Tampa and staff the Florida State University College of Medicine in Sarasota, hosting medical students in their 3rd and 4th years. We also invite residents from the FSU Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine Residency programs to rotate in our departments.
DESIREDPROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Cardiac‑specific experience is a plus, but not required.
- Candidates must be a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy and residency trained in the practice of Diagnostic Radiology.
- Board eligible or certified by the American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology.
- Completed a one‑year post‑residency fellowship training in the subspecialty of Thoracic Radiology or Cardiothoracic radiology.
- Medical license or the ability to obtain a license in the state of FL.
