Psychology Part-Time Instructor Pool 25-26

The Department of Psychology in the College of Social Science, Mathematics & Education at The University of Tampa invites applications for part-time instructors to teach General Psychology and other Psychology courses as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Teach one or two 4-hour courses per semester.
  • Create a syllabus and other course-related materials.
  • Teach according to departmental guidelines.
  • Provide meeting times for students and mentor students regarding their assignments.
  • Complete course grading and submit final grades on the online system.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Clinical, Social, Industrial and Organizational, Cognitive, Biopsychology, Developmental or General Psychology from a Department of Psychology. PhD or ABD in Psychology from a Psychology Department is preferred.
  • College-level teaching experience.

Applications for part-time positions are accepted on a continuous basis and reviewed by the department chair when openings become available. Future teaching assignments are on a term-by-term basis, which may include fall, spring, and summer.
