Role Mission: The School Counselor leads campus family engagement, social-emotional learning, and mental health supports for students, ensuring all staff build authentic relationships and data-driven interventions are in place to support student success. The goal is to create a safe, supportive environment where students can thrive academically and socially, ultimately preparing them for college.

What We Offer: Salary ranges from $60,569 to $72,683, based on experience and qualifications, with potential performance bonuses. Qualifications:

• Master's degree in School Counseling or related field
• Previous school setting experience
• Valid School Counselor Certification or equivalent license

Knowledge & Skills: Proven success, organizational and communication skills, behavior management, alignment with IDEA’s mission, adaptability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Student and family engagement, counseling, data management, intervention planning
• Leading professional development, managing attendance, supporting social-emotional learning curriculum
• Facilitating family communication, surveys, and community involvement
• Supporting new student onboarding and retention efforts
• Participating in crisis response team, ensuring a safe and positive school climate
