IDEA Public Schools invites applications for a Kindergarten Teacher at IDEA Hope Academy, dedicated to preparing students to succeed in college and embody IDEA’s values daily.
What We Offer- Starting salary $52,000 for 0 years of experience; additional stipends $500–$4,000 based on certifications, credentials, and campus leadership.
- Opportunities through the Teacher Career Pathway with potential to earn up to $10,000 in additional compensation.
- Hourly compensation for after‑school tutoring or Saturday school.

- Tuition reimbursement up to 50% of qualified studies (max $5,250 annually).

- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
- Teaching certification, field of study, or equivalent experience in K‑12.
- Experience in a K‑12 classroom setting strongly preferred.
- Florida educator certification required or willingness to pursue certification (IDEA offers a certification program for non‑certified teachers).
- Strong content knowledge, curriculum design, student behavior management, and technology integration.
- Implement state learning standards, IDEA curricula, and assessments to meet ambitious academic expectations.
- Submit instructional plans two weeks in advance for review.
- Use formal and informal assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instruction.
- Communicate student progress to families on a weekly basis.
- Maintain a clear behavior management system aligned with campus initiatives.
- Provide tutoring sessions as needed to support student learning.
- Participate in grade‑level meetings, teacher check‑ins, and school‑wide events.
- Engage in professional learning during summer and the academic year.
- Work a minimum of 40+ hours per week at school, including potential after‑school or Saturday responsibilities.
