Radiation Oncology Faculty Position

University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine is accepting applications for a Clinical Radiation Oncology Faculty position to begin in 2026.

Location:

12901 Bruce B Downs Blvd, Tampa, FL, 33612, US

• Provide outpatient radiation therapy services and consults at various Tampa General Hospital locations.
• Supply appropriate quality assurance measures to qualify for industry accreditation.
• Coordinate care within the Cancer Institute and with other services and affiliated sites of USF Health.
• Report to a Chair or other appropriate higher‑level administrator of a state university.
• Teach, conduct research, perform service, and participate in related administrative activities.
• Advise academically and represent the university, college/school, or department/unit on university and/or statewide committees.

• Medical Degree from an accredited institution or the highest degree appropriate in the field of specialization.
• Demonstrated record of achievement in teaching, academic research and service.
• Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor.
• For Associate/Full Professor: typically have produced creative work, published professional writing or research in refereed journals, and be a recognized authority in the field.
• Must hold or be eligible for a full, unrestricted Florida Medical License or foreign equivalent.
• Maintain credentials in the USF Health faculty practice plan and be a medical staff member in good standing at the hospitals assigned to perform clinical duties.
