Position Details
The Department of History, Geography and Legal Studies in the College of Social Sciences, Math and Education at the University of Tampa invites applications for part-time instructors to teach undergraduate courses in Legal Studies.
The Legal Studies program offers a minor in Law, Justice, and Advocacy with over 200 undergraduates enrolled as minors and attracts many non‑minor students.
Responsibilities
- Creating a syllabus and other course related materials.
- Teaching in‑person course(s) according to departmental guidelines.
- Providing time outside of class to meet with students.
- Completing course grading and submitting final grades in the online system.
Qualifications
- Required:
Juris Doctor (JD). - Preferred:
Teaching experience, especially college‑level teaching experience.
We are especially interested in candidates who can teach courses during normal working hours (9 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the week). If you can do so, please state this in your cover letter.
