Position Details

The Department of Economics in the Sykes College of Business at The University of Tampa is seeking applications for part-time instructors to teach principles of microeconomics and/or principles of macroeconomics.

• Teach one or two courses per semester.
• Create syllabus for students each semester to include learning objectives consistent with The University and College of Business mission statement (course objectives and sample syllabi provided).
• Provide meeting time for students.
• Manage online/paperwork grading system, including training prior to first semester of teaching.

• PhD or Master's in Economics
• Significant experience as a professional economist.
• Teaching experience preferred.

Applications for part-time positions are accepted on a continuous basis and reviewed by the department when openings become available. Future teaching assignments are on a term-by-term basis which may include fall, spring and summer.
